Prof. Lijia Pan

Nanjing University, China

Professor Pan Lijia is currently a professor and doctoral advisor at the School of Electronic Science and Engineering and the National Center for Micro-Structure Collaborative Innovation at Nanjing University. He was selected as a New Century Excellent Talent by the Ministry of Education in 2010 and received the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2018. Professor Pan earned his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China and conducted visiting scholar research at Stanford University from 2011 to 2012 and again from May to August 2017. As the second principal contributor, he was awarded the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award in 2017 and the First Prize of the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award in 2016. His research focuses on polymer electronic materials and devices, electronic skin devices, and biomimetic sensing devices. He has published over 200 papers in prestigious journals such as Nature Sustainability, Nature Communications, PNAS, Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, ACS Nano, Advanced Functional Materials, Energy & Environmental Science, Accounts of Chemical Research, and IEEE EDL, with more than 21,000 SCI citations, an h-index of 55, and 14 ESI highly cited papers. Professor Pan has been invited to contribute eight chapters to Chinese and English monographs published by Science Press, Wiley, Elsevier, and World Scientific. He serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals including IEEE Journal on Flexible Electronics, Wearable Electronics, Biomimetics, Scientific Reports, and Acta Semiconductor. He is a senior member of IEEE.

Prof. Fengchun Wei

Henan University of Technology, China

Wei Fengchun, Ph.D., Professor, Master's Supervisor, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Henan University of Technology. His main research focuses on fiber-reinforced resin matrix composites and the structural design and functionalization of fiber-resin-metal composites. He has participated in five National Natural Science Foundation projects and has presided and participated in over ten research projects from the Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, key research projects from the Henan Provincial Department of Education, and various horizontal projects. He has published over 30 high-level papers, received three Excellent Paper Awards from the Henan Provincial Department of Education, one second prize for the Science and Technology Achievement Award from the Henan Provincial Department of Education, and has been granted three national invention patents.

Prof. Shahid Hussain

Jiangsu University, China

Prof. Dr. Shahid Hussain by national: Pakistan, is currently working as Professor (Full) at School of Materials Science and Engineering, Jiangsu University, China. He completed  his  PhD degree in Chongqing University, 2015, after started Post-Doctoral research fellowship 2015-2017. He joined Jiangsu University as Associate Professor in July 2017 and based on his outstanding achievements and experiences, he was promoted as Full Professor in July 2020, and was approved by the State and Govt of China. Recently, he has joined as Associate Professor at University of Sargodha, Pakistan. Research foundation and working conditions: At present, Dr. Shahid Hussain and the project team have executed a lot of work in the field of metal oxide, sulfides, MXene and metal-organic based gas sensors, supercapacitors and LiS Batteries. He has published high quality research articles, and has a wealth of experience, which laid a solid foundation for the project related research. Dr. Shahid Hussain has excellent working experience on gas sensors and has been working on sensor device fabrication since 2011. He has published more than 325+ SCI indexed journal research articles with h-Index is 56 in Google Scholar with 11000 citations (Till date Nov 2024) and 11 book Chapters and has impact factor ~ IF>2500. He is also working as an Editor for 17 SCI indexed journals (Elsevier, Springer, Frontiers, Hindawi, American Scientific Publishers and MDPI). Moreover, he has appeared as Keynote speaker in 22 international conferences and as Conference Chair in 3 international conferences. He also has an honor serving as a Coordinator for Materials Science Society of Pakistan (MSSP). He is also member for International Think Tank Institute of Peace and Development (INSPAD-UNO) since August 2020.

Prof. Lei Zhang

Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China

Lei Zhang is a full-time professor at the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST). He obtained his PhD degree in Natural Science (Physics) from Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge. Prior to this, he received his master degree from Imperial College London, and his BEng degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Before joining NUIST, he was a post-doc researcher at the State University of New York at Buffalo. 

His research interests include AI for Science. Recently, he is focusing on the development and application of big-data and AI methods (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing, LLM,  image recognition, high-throughput DFT calculation, high-throughput experiments and data mining) combined with first-principles calculations for science.
